Hanna has an impressive record as an innovator: The first portable conductivity meter using Four-Ring technology (HI 8033) in 1980; the first chemical dosing pump incorporating a pH meter (BL 7916) in 1982; the first pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor (HI 1213S) in 1984; the first pocket tester line (pHep®, DiST, ORP, PWT, ElTh) in 1986; the first pre-amplified electrode (AmpHel) in 1988; the first waterproof portable microprocessor pH meter (HI 9025) in 1990; the first portable pH meter with a built-in printer (HI 9224) in 1992; the first portable microprocessor sodium chloride analyzer (HI 931100) in 1993 ; an extended line of Ion Specific Meters in 1996....Our goal is to continue this trend by anticipating market demands and responding to them with innovation.
